Claiming compensation from Thames Water

Following the disastrous situation created for many of us this weekend, please ensure Thames Water compensate you!

Anybody who has had their water supply interrupted for 12 hours or more is entitled to £30 compensation per 12 hours of interruption of supply. See compensation page.

We have been contacted by numerous people in other areas of London saying that Thames Water, in contradiction to their commitment, rarely credit your account automatically.

THUS FILL IN TODAY A COMPENSATION CLAIM FORM AND TAKE A SCREEN PRINT OF THE FORM

The compensation form can be found here. You will need your account number. Be aware that the system doesn’t send any receipt of your compensation claim, thus take a screenshot of your claim.

We have estimated that the interruption of supply on Saturday could cost Thames Water more than £1.5 millions so they are likely to delay the payments as much as possible.

Our neighbourhood has suffered enough from the lack of investment in adequate water and sewage infrastructure already and we believe that improvements will only happen if this hurts the pockets of Thames Water. Please share this widely and let’s ensure that the tens of thousands of households that have been affected, get paid the compensation they are entitled to!

PS: let us know if and when you get compensation so that we can continue to put pressure on Thames Water.
