Kamayan Filipino restaurant at 227 Kilburn High Road is undergoing refurbishment and promises to offer sushi.

Quartieri received a mention in Harden’s Guide and will be running a pizza and pasta course on 28th July. Don’t forget to book if you are interested.

Creams at 182 Kilburn High Road finally opened this week.

The Kingsgate Project Space is hosting a new exhibition until 28th July.

Young entrepreneurs (up to 18) will be showcasing their work at the Granville on 29th July.

BRAT released a letter from the Kiln (Tricycle) Theatre and Cinema giving more details about the consultation that led to the very controversial name change.

Heavy rain on Friday created chaos in Kilburn, and Kilburn Park station was flooded.

The Abbey Community Centre is looking for a new Cafe Lead.

The Sidings Community Centre is offering a holiday play scheme for 5-11 years old from 30th July to 13th August. Although the enrollment deadline has passed, may be worth contacting them if you are interested.They will also be running a Childcare level 2 course in September.

Councillor Abdirazak (Brent Kilburn Councillor) lost his space on the Brent Planning Committee.

The Local Government Secretary rejected the request for an inquiry into the approval of the Cricklewood Freight Super-Hub that will generate 400 HGV movements a day. This will no doubt increase traffic in our neighbourhood.

A new outdoor Gym was installed in the South Kilburn Open Space.

A popular instagram food blogger reviewed Wingmans. It was mostly good but they weren’t a fan of the blue cheese dressing.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9pm, Live Irish Music at Sir Colin Campbell.

Friday nights – live music at the North London Tavern from 7pm and Karaoke nights at the Cock Tavern from 9PM

Saturday from 11am to 1pm Gardening in the St Cuthberts garden

Saturday – retro evenings at the North London Tavern from 9pm

The first Wednesday of every month there is a board game night at the Alliance pub on Mill lane in nearby West Hampstead

The first Sunday of every month is gardening at the Kilburn Tube station 11am – 1pm. No tap in required, just tell the tube staff you’re there to garden
